The Importance of Pledging
Pledging is an essential part of the functioning of St. Luke's Church. Pledging, or the announcement of your intention to give a certain financial amount for the year, allows the Finance Committee to more accurately develop and track our operating budget.
Although pledges are primarily sought during the Sundays leading up to "Giving Sunday" in November, St. Luke's accepts pledges throughout the year.
There are times when we are granted unexpected riches, and other times that tribulations befall us. Pledges are an intention, but should you need to adjust your pledge please email Stewardship Chair, Ruth Mooney, at rmoone66@jmooney.us
Please use this pledge card to submit your pledge for next year. Forms can be dropped into the collection plate during services or mailed into the church at the address above.
Altar Flower Sponsorships
Those wishing to honor a loved one can sponsor the two flower arrangements for the altar each week. Flowers can be sponsored as a celebration of a birth, birthday, anniversary, or other life event. Flowers can also be donated in memory of loved ones. Forms are available in the Narthex and by contacting Susan Bello by email at stlukeschurchpa@verizon.net or by phone at (215) 968-2781. The recommended donation amount is a minimum of $25/week.
