A very important Vestry selection process is scheduled for Sunday, April 2nd. While all Vestry elections are important, this one will be more so because this new Vestry will complete the process of calling a new Rector.
That said, we are looking for four or more candidates to run for the four open Vestry positions. The four members rotating off Vestry are Hong Cai, Veronica Wallace-Mele, Barbara Stollsteimer, and Liz Warren.
If you would like to run for Vestry, you can contact Fr. Trey Kennedy, John Schmidt (Sr. Warden), or Susan Bello in the church office.
Qualifications to serve on Vestry are:
· You must be baptized.
· You must have been confirmed or received into the Episcopal Church
· You must be at least 18 years old.
· St. Luke’s is your principle place of worship.
· There is a record that you have made a financial contribution to the parish in the past year.
· You are a member in good standing, having received communion at least three times during the year.
Vestry is currently in the process for selecting a new Rector with the goal of having one in place in 2023. Please keep the Vestry, Fr. Trey and St. Luke’s in your prayers as we move along this journey together.
