Prayer Shawl Ministry – National Knitting in Public Day

Join the members of the Prayer Shawl Ministry as we knit in public outside of St. Luke’s church. This gathering is open to the public.

Call all knitters, crotchers or those who like to chat with others. Each Saturday morning, the members of the Prayer Shawl Ministry (PSM) at St. Luke’s Parish House and/or via Zoom. To join the PSM, please contact Robin Connell at robinconnell928@gmail.com.

Open to all faiths and skill levels, the Prayer Shawl Ministry at St. Luke’s knits/crochets a variety of handmade goods to provide warmth and comfort to those in need. Items produced include prayer shawls, lap blankets, baby blankets, hats, scarves, and other items. The ministry also raises funds and donates knitted items to A Woman’s Place in Doylestown, each year through their participation in Newtown’s Market Day and St. Luke’s annual Christmas Charity Bazaar.
