Lenten Book Study
Being Christian by Rowan Williams
March 10, 17, 24, & 31st | 7:30 p.m.
St. Luke’s Parish House Library

This Lent we will be offering a study of Archbishop Rowan Williams’ short meditation on the Christian life, Being Christian. Rather than focusing on doctrine or beliefs, this book focuses on the practices of Baptism, Eucharist, prayer, and Bible reading which make up a faithful Christian life. We will gather on four Monday nights in March as a community to discuss one of the fours chapters of the book, to share fellowship, and to pray the brief service of Compline. Attendees are encouraged to bring snacks to share. The book is available to purchase from Amazon or your favorite book seller (ISBN-10: 9780802871978). Adult and older teenage Confirmation students will also participate in this study.
